Nature Inspiration
Robin Longo has a love of nature and is inspired by the calming effects that it has on all of us. The imagination of a walk with the wind blowing, colors and shapes of the seasons and the grandeur of nature contribute to the essence of these paintings.
The Dress Collection
Fashion design as always inspired Robin Longo's art. This is what inspired her
to create the dress collection. In
Robin's mind, she needed a special
dress for every occasion. And, you
can't just have one dress. So, Robin painted dresses for small and large
events, even a special ball gown
for the Robin Longo Art imaginary
award ceremony.
Collage
One day, years ago, Robin Longo was in the middle of a painting and had a desire to wipe up the paint with paper. She looked at the painted paper and saw something so beautiful. All the colors of her previous paintings were on the paper. This then became a new creation showing texture and color in a very unique way.
Landscape
Robin Longo's landscape paintings are a product of her imagination. She is inspired
by everything she sees. The colors of the
day, the seasons, even the people that she meets along the way. The inspiration and sense of calmness of landscapes come
from forms, shapes and colors and their relationship to each other.
Expressionistic Series
These Expressionist paintings are free form, spontaneous creations. Robin never knows where it will lead but her imagination guides her. She uses various colored acrylic inks, dropping and swirling them in layers to form various shapes and sizes. The final results always bring a pleasant surprise.
